Release of Retort Quarterly Issue #1 is delayed due to budget and time constraints. We considered using print on demand services but limitations in available options would have meant sacrificing too many ideas we have about how we want to present the magazine. Let’s be honest, unless it totally awesome, no one’s going to buy it. Current P.O.D services worldwide are just the new face of the vanity press. There is nothing vain about Retort Magazine or Retort Quarterly. There is nothing of vanity in our M. O.
